La platja de Barcelona segueix essent un lloc clau de la ciutat, una de les obres de reestructuració de ´espai urbà duta a terme pels Jocs Olímpics que ha deixat una petjada per als ciutadans. Un lloc de descans, d´harmonia, de contacte amb la natura. De pràctica d´esports, lectura, grups fent yoga, ball o dansa, voley, entrenament per a socorristes futurs, casals i esplais, o simplement fer amistats.... la platja és part de la gran Barcelona. Tant a l´estiu com a l´hivern. A l´hivern amb l´aigua transparent i com si d´un llac es tractés a l´ex- regidora li encanta fer un bon bany "al seu estimat mar" o gaudir d´una bona lectura amb l´horitzó de rerafons.
