Trinitats dialoguen per mitjà del jardí vertical del Pont de Sarajevo
El Pont de Sarajevo va ser objecte de reforma el maig de 2015, durant el
mandat de Xavier Trias, essent la regidora Irma Rognoni. La finalitat era
generar un eix còmode i agradable que connectés les dues Trinitats (Nova i
Vella) , un pont que reflectís la voluntat de diàleg i fàcil comunicació per
als ciutadans d´ aquests dos barris que tant es relacionen.
Calia obrir un espai més dolç i harmònic, més pensat per a vianants que per
vehicles i tot això amb criteris de sostenibilitat i autosuficiència energètica.
Per això la plataforma única compta amb un terra format per plaques
fotovoltaiques que capten l’energia del sol i que durant la nit l’il·luminen, alhora que absorbeixen
contaminació. Al mateix temps s’aconsegueix que durant la nit adquireixi un
cert aire escultural.
Alhora el pont s´ havia de convertir en un jardí vertical per dotar l´
entrada a Barcelona d´ un caire agradable,
de benvinguda als mils de cotxes que hi passen diàriament. La reforma del pont
s’uneix amb les reformes de la
Casa de l´ Aigua a Trinitat
Nova. Tant els voltants, com la casa de l´Aigua, com el pont de Sarajevo són
ara totalment accessibles (accessibilitat universal) tal com preveuen les
normatives vigents.

The two Barcelona’s neighborhoods, Trinitats, dialogue through a
vertical garden at Sarajevo’s
bridge
Sarajevo’s bridge in Barcelona was the subject
of reform in May 2015, while the mandate of Xavier Trias, being the City
councilor Irma Rognoni. The aim was to create a comfortable and pleasant axis
connecting the two Trinitats (New and Old), a bridge that reflects the will of
dialogue and easier communication for the citizens of both sides of the bridge.
It was necessary to open a sweeter and harmonious space, more thought for pedestrians than vehicles, and with sustainability and self-sufficiency energy. So the unique platform has a floor formed by photovoltaic panels that captures solar energy and during the night gives illumination, while absorbs pollution. At the same time it seems a sculpture.
At the same time the bridge had to become a vertical garden in order to provide a nice entry to Barcelona, welcoming the thousands of cars that pass daily. The renovation of the bridge joins the reforms of the Casa de l´Aigua. Both the surrounding area, including the Casa de l´Aigua and Sarajevo’s Bridge are now fully accessible (Universal Accessibility) as the planned regulations. The bridge has been ready this April 2016 as outlined El Pais.
